Team Stoned Summoners (55420)
LFM: Welcoming Team Stoned Summoner Applicants (55420)
Hello! My name is Beau, aka SirLeoKnightus. I'm creating a ranked team for those who like a more competitive feel. We are going to staff a roster first, while practicing in solo for ranked matches that will begin on Monday, June 8th, 2015. This gives us plenty of time to get to know one another.
ARAM and Twisted Treeline will be our practice maps. We will be working on grouping, objectives, VOIP (Curse, Ventrillo), Smart Buys, Building Champions, Rune Pages and more. This is Team Stoned Summoners. We will have a low key crowd that smokes a lot of herb. If you're not down with herb or other chill players, please don't apply to join.
This team will vote as a team, play as a team, learn as a team, win as a team, and smoke as a team. On Friday June 5th, by 8:00pm EST, we will have results from a vote cast by all members of the roster, as to who should Captain the team, and what roles various team members will play by election, to serve the collective team effort.
This is not a sponsored team, though I'm sure we will collectively utilize VOIP, Twitch, or other means of electronic sharing of information. You will be asked to provide your first name, a telephone number to which you can be reached, and some basic information about your play styles and habits, to improve upon the team's combined awesomeness.
To Apply, please provide the following:
First Name Only: Beau Summoner Name: SirLeoKnightus Telephone: (386)310-4137
Favorite Champion: AP Archmage Annie
Current Rank in Solo: Bronze V
Current Rank in Team: Recruiting
Current Mastery Score: 7
Why do you want to join Team Stoned Summoners? I am tired of losing because people can't talk to each other with respect, encourage one another, and don't smoke as much weed as I do. I also want to help teach those who want to learn, and learn new things myself, while meeting like minded stoned summoners.
Do you have any competitive e-sports experience, either with League of Legends or another game title? (Y/N List Experience) Yes, I do. I used to play pro-am CS 1.6, CS:S, Manage a Traveling Competitive LAN team in Orlando Florida, spent 3 years working for EA Tiburon Studios in Maitland (EA Sports), spent 3 years working for Microsoft Xbox Customer Support as a Team Lead and Lead Trainer, and now I work for Apple.
What mouse do you use? I use Steel Series MLG Sensei's. I have two, just in case my main one goes on me. I love the Sensei! They have lcd screens on the bottom, which is weird right? Who would look? idk. What I really like is that it stores your mouse settings on board, where there is a chip that hosts that data for you. I don't even have to load my player settings when competing on LAN. Totally recommend Steel Series Sensei's, and I prefer the MLG ver.
What headset do you use? Steel Series Siberia Raw Prism. I just got two on sale at Best Buy. Before that I've used ASTRO MLG, and Steel Series XB.
What keyboard do you use? I just use my work keyboard. It's familiar. I love the Saitek Eclipse 2 personally, for competitive events though.
Tell us about your gaming rig. I just use a 21.5-inch, Mid 2011 release iMac, 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB, OS X 10.9.5
Do you use Twitch? Yes, on a mobile platform. iOS of course.
Do you use Curse? Yes.
Do you use some other Voice Server, like Ventrillo, etc? (Y/N) Sometimes, but not personally.
Can you be available for practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for at least two hours, between the hours of 5:00pm and 12:00pm EST? (Y/N) Of course.
TO APPLY: Please complete the application using the template above. Erase my info and then add your own, and submit the information to [email protected]
Feel free to contact me by telephone at the number provided in my own application, or use my Summoner Name to add me and chat online.
Thank you, good luck and have fun, Team Stoned Summoners. W0_ot! @55420
