LoL turning into social media or something????

So during this past week I have been looking for people to play with and then people to start a team with. I believe I had over 30 friends request , and during the week I've maybe talked to 15 and played with 5. leaving over 10 people that would not reply to me saying hello or joining my game. I'm wondering if it's just cool to have a big friends list or whats going on. I understand people have their friends they play with and won't be available every time I call out, but is it that hard to at lease say "sorry playing with people already" or something rather then adding me then not even say hi after a week.

Anyway sorry for the rant, but it's just annoying that I had a big friends list and still play by myself or one other person every time I'm on. Figure I would try one last time and see if I can get some people to play with. I'm silver 5 with 0 LP xD I mostly like to play for fun and try new builds, so I mostly play normal's, but I'll do rank but don't expect me to carry as I'm that causal gamer when it comes to league. lol

I clean my friend list on a regular basis, you should try it

Your observation is not incorrect. I've noticed this too; people adding people left and right, but then no interaction whatsoever. I've just recently had a person add me after a game and it's been a week now and they haven't said a thing lol, regardless of both of us being online at the same time. I didn't say anything either since they added me, but it's puzzling. I clean my list very often tho, if there is a lack of interaction in general or if they don't bother to reply to an invite or message, they get booted.

I did down to 4 people. I'm just saying over this last week I have gotten 30 friends request. It's just dumb that people add you them just don't want to play.
