Pentagon Esports Looking for Serious Players for a New Ranked 5s Team (Plat +)

Hi there, my name is BestSniperAfrica, I represent the LoL team for Pentagon Esports, and we are looking for players around our skill level (Plat 5 or higher) to play regularly with and improve together. We are looking for serious and professionally composed players only. You will be contacted by me, and we'd move on from there. Applicants that main the roles we are seeking will have a higher priority for tryouts than those that do not, but I will do my best to reach out to everyone that applies.

Practices are around 10pm PST to 1:00am PST 3-4 days a week depending on work schedules / availabilities Please do not post if this is not possible for you. We are seeking committed players, asking for 3 hours of your time to get better as a team, and overall do not have an excessive practice schedule. If it is outside of your availability, please do not fill out an application. I do not place members on roster based on skill, but overall synergy with the team, and how well communication and play style fit with what we’re looking for as a team.

In terms of communication, having a smartphone is highly preferable, as we use a group chat app to communicate outside of League. Please do not post here if you can't commit to a practice schedule, can't give 100% every game the team plays in, be it normals or ranked, or flake out after a week of playing.

I am not interested in casual players, I AM interested in people who are strongly committed to improving themselves and improving as a team. I read through this and basically this is exactly what I'm looking for. The time doesn't matter because I have all the time in the world to play. I want a team to play with and progress with good attitudes and the motivation to get better through the wins and the losses. What do you feel you bring to the team? I'm always on time, if not early. I'm punctual. I usually am the adhesion to the team I'm playing with keeping everyone on their toes and together. I bring constructive criticism as well. This sometimes is taken poorly, but to be honest if we don't learn from our mistakes we'll never get better as a team. List off a known weakness you'd like to improve on: I am skilled in my own role, but not quite so much as others. At least in terms of knowing what they should build/their power spikes etc anyway. When I do make a mistake I will own up to it.

Prior Team Experience: I've played with a few teams in the past ranging from gold to almost challenger. My d2 team back in season 3 that I was on (when I was d3) ended up having to quit due to lots of RL changes. I have pretty solid team experience and have won a few small tourneys in the past. P.S. This is exactly what I'm looking for. A solid group and not just a group, but a team of people willing to put in hours to play together and progress. My goal end game is esports and I want to get there.

Why do you want to join the team? - Well, the time you practice is perfect assuming the days line up which should be easy, I am free most days. I want to play as a team and improve myself as well as the team together, grow as a unit so to speak and you wrote something similar so I think I would enjoy being on a team with you, similar Ideals

What do you feel you bring to the team? - Champ pool, willingness to try new things, communication, positive attitude, and my very unique straight forward personality. I am extremely honest and sometimes blunt. I try not to say anything that will be rude but I am very honest and if you give me the floor to speak or ask my opinion you will get the raw truth of my feelings.

List off a known weakness you'd like to improve on: - I am aggressive, I like to push lanes and create pressure without 100% respecting the jungler gank potential. I don't play fizz top yet, I have played him a bit mid but never top so I probably need to relearn him and I think that hurts me, not having that champ in my bag of tricks.

Prior Team Experience: - Plenty actually, have even been on a team that was on their way to an LCS qualifier but we fizzled when our team manager and captain decided to go play Team fortress 2 instead. I have had plenty of silver-Diamond teams I have dabbled with here and there, some serious some not. Most fizzle or just give up.
