Hello. I'm a master league player in sc2. I'm making a transition to LoL and seek help with reaching level 30 as soon as possible. I will begin around 9 pm tonight. Any tips would be great.

Hey, I'd love to play with you and help you out, but I can't do it tonight. I have helped several people start out and I have some experience with Starcraft as well. If you're interested you can send me a friend request and I can try to help you out. I can start tomorrow.

Okay I added you. Just learned how to play lee Sin from TeaDrinker. Really fun! Now it's a new hero rotation so I'm screwed and need to learn how to play another assassin -_-

Hey thanks so much for the initial lessons and build order link. It's really so much fun duoing with my girlfriend and knowing what to do at least for vs AI games for now. At level 10 thanks to you.

But the remaining 20 is going to be even longer journey..

No problem man, i enjoyed playing with you. Im not high ranking myself but, i theory craft sometimes. I just like having regulars to play with. I sought you out because i play starcraft too :) and, let's just face it starcraft gamers are the best at video games.

I too was masters when I made the swap over to leagues, my basic advice is to choose one role and champion to bring you a majority of the way.

Reaching level 30 is a long process, but what's available to you afterwards is worth it.

Dont spend your IP on phase 1 or 2 runes either, buy up to 5 champions, in case your main role is taken and spend the money on rune pages instead of runes. Set up your masteries per role you want to play and remember your arts of war from starcraft, such as patience.

let the enemy make the first mistakes.

last hitting creep can also be more valuable than kills, watch your minions and make your pokes when they are making cs and always remember to ward / map awareness.

At low levels you may find a team that never wants to end a push, this doesnt have to be you.

it's late but when I wake up I may get around to more useful tidbits.

tier 3 runes will be your best friend, and IP is very valuable if spent right early on, you will see yourself climbing ranks quickly with this advice

Yeah I'm currently too scared to shop for anything so any efficient shopping/build orders would be great to maximize level growth. Is it possible to place Master in solo queue? How frustrating is it compared to SC2/WC3 random team?
