G3 player looking for higher elo play to learn more

Greetings and Salutations,

I am Andraxx and I am currently Gold 3 this season. I am looking for players on the East coast of NA to play with during the evening. I am hoping to find players with a greater knowledge base, or more or less a mentor to help me improve my game. I am aiming for moving up to Plat or Diamond next season and I feel I've been stuck in a rut without anyone to help me stay relevant in the metas or to help push me to do better.

I am a Top and Jg main with experience in all roles and many champions although my mains are Darius and Jayce for top lane, J4 and Pantheon in the Jg, Kassadin and Azir in mid, and Vayne and Lucian for ADC. I do not play a lot of support, but when I do I play Thresh, Leona, or Tahm Kench.

I am hoping to learn better map awareness and better ward placement and when and where to tp around the map to help my team take objectives. I am also down for reccomendations on champions to play that might suit my play style a bit more and possible build options for those champions and the ones I already play.

What do you run on darius in typical games? Masteries, build path, runes, etc.

R/dariusmains is also a good place to check out for help (perhaps not in game help but really good advice).

My usual stuff for normals differes from what I do in ranked play.

In ranked play I go for grasp of the undying mastrey keystone, armor pen reds, flat armor yellows, Mr blues and ad quints, rush black cleaver, then get ninja tabi or merc treads into dead man's plate. Then spirit visage, warmogs, and titanic hydra in no particular order.

For norms I go fervor of battle keystone, ad reds and quints, armor yellows, and cdr blues. Black cleaved into beserker greaves then titianic hydra right after, then imediatly warnogs for the aoe cone for titanic, spirit visage, and then into blood thirster if fed enough. If not I go for deaths dance.

I don't like going full tank because I find it boring. But I do it in ranked because it's the Darius "meta" and it works well. I find just offloading tons of damage to be much more fun.
