Stuck in Silver: Like a noob

Hey people of the LoL community. Looking to get serious about ranked games in a non-toxic environment. Hoping to get better. I've been stuck at the cusp of gold the last two seasons. I have a thing for bombing placement games. In Season 4: I carried myself from silver 5 to silver 1. In Season 5, I carried myself from bronze 1 to silver 1. This season, I've been playing almost entirely support, and can't get out of silver 5 despite getting into promos. My stats aren't impressive, mostly because I can be inconsistent and tilted by harassment at the best of times. I would still consider myself a 'mid lane main', but I've played the game for so long (with apparently little to show for it) I have a fair amount of experience in every position.
