Top 5 champs and why: Caitlyn - Long-range means good poke. I adopt good positioning during lane and trade just as they try to get the minions. It's an easy way to push everyone out of lane and assure victory. I mainly pick cait.
Jinx - Her long-range is a plus, similar to caitlyn but less frequent on poking. Her laning phase is solid and her teamfight potential is very good. She's a hypercarry so it's viable choice when you need some extra damage. Basically a caitlyn on cocaine with extra attackspeed/aoe if needed. Only setback is no reliable escape. I picked jinx a lot last season.
She's also a good split-pusher/tower shredder.
Vayne - Primarily used against tank comps. She's very good-late game and I can actually lane surprisingly well with her. Her early game isn't that bad as some say it is. She focuses on mistakes and basically snowballs off of them. She's pretty strong over-all expect for her really low-range. She also singles out a single enemy too. She's still good at most 1 v 1's and dive-comps as well. I use her often.
Ezreal - Meh. I use him in occasion. There's just better options, most of the time. I only use him if the team is a pick-comp. I'd rather poke from afar and not have the setback that caitlyn or jinx does when someone persistently tries to jump on you. His damage is pretty low if youre behind though, but overall my safe pick.
Sivir - She's easy enough and pretty good for team-comps. Her wave-clear is awesome, her spell-shield can counter a leona and her Q can do good damage against trades. I just can't do much damage as her as I'd like to.
communication (1-10) can you shot call: Six? I'm not sure, considering I don't have much experience with teams.
Weaknesses: I'd probably say that I often get overly aggressive and push too far during laning phase. It opens the opportunity of ganks, which can generally lead to losing the lead that I have created. There is also the occasion where I may get greedy with my trades and open a window of opportunity for them to turn the tides. I also lack a bit in map awareness, as my supports usually tend to warn me before I even get a chance to look at the mini-map. But I'm sure I can easily fix these issues by forging some new habits.
I also can't self evaluate as well as I would like to. I tend to repeat mistakes until I finally realize or if it's pointed out to me. I'm a quick learner though, I'm just not a good teacher for myself.
Previous 5s experience: I've had a couple here and there. They would all die before we even got a chance to finish the provisionals. Others didn't even bother to think things through, expecting to win without any planning whatsoever. Actually, that's what most of the teams ended up doing. They disregard my suggestions and go straight to ranked, without even trying to establish a team composition beforehand. But whatever. Maybe I'm wrong.
Why you want to be on our team: As I said before, I'm not really a good teacher. I like to have people point out my mistakes during my plays as I find myself to improve much quicker. There was one instance where this occurred, where someone told a mistake that I have never even seen before. I found myself making the mistake less and less, and eventually climbed up due to this change.
This isn't the only reason either. I find the idea of a team-ranked competitive team interesting. I want to own the scene just by formulating a plan and composition with my team-mates. And who knows, maybe I'll learn something that isn't from solo queue.
Why we should chose you over everyone else that has applied: I'm not really confident on my skills, but I am confident that I can improve. I'm open-minded and I don't EVER rage, unlike some toxic players. I'm very adaptable to changes, but sometimes I do become a bit reluctant to try new things. I also feel like I'd probably improve very quickly, the idea of having another set of eyes on me is encouraging. We could all work together in a effort to make the whole team improve and that's one good way to get better at this game. I'm also the one to not give-in so easily after repeated failures. I'm the kind of person who tries to learn from his losses, so that way they're not complete losses. Losing is a part of the game and some people don't understand that. If you add me to your group, that's one less thing you have to worry about. All you would have to worry about is the game itself and instead of having someone weigh you down, I'd support you up just like a real team-mate would. I do hope this team is actually serious, I would like to actually try ranked teams, instead of putting some little effort then leaving. But hey, sometimes things don't go as expected.
