I am stuck....so new friends i hope?

I have this friend...we've play together ALOT it's been since March since we met. He was cool at first. But now he's been really toxic to anybody that joins & plays with us. Even randoms. He says really horrible things for no reason. Me being the super nice guy i am, i apologize to each person after a game about his behavior. It's really annoying. We even had a group once & everyone split because of his salty nature. He talked down on alot of my friends. So they invite me to games while i'm playing with him & it's like i'm in the middle just not sure what to do. I'm friends with everyone but man it's hard being the peacemaker. Now he has this attitude that he's better than everyone. I just want new friends & to slowly move away from him....i just want more positive friends. Some that won't bicker about any & everything that someone does wrong. Even randoms that join me don't need to be talked bad about. Nobody likes a toxic player.

So if you are interested in playing together & being friends then add me. Just looking for more people like me & less of people like him. Even his toxic attitude to others now is getting to me. Like i just try any possible way to avoid playing with him.....
