(University) Hawaii Pacific University now offering Esports Scholarship to eligible candidates

Hawai‘i Pacific University is an international learning community set in the rich cultural context of Hawai‘i in Honolulu. Students from around the world join us for an American education built on a liberal arts foundation. Our innovative undergraduate and graduate programs anticipate the changing needs of the community and prepare our graduates to live, work, and learn as active members of a global society.

It is the first university in the state to field a Collegiate League of Legends team. We have also just opened the first dedicated Esports Arena at our university.

Now, we are proudly able to offer scholarships to those who are interested in pursuing League of Legends (and hopefully other series in the future) at the college level. Those qualified are able to receive scholarships worth $1,000 - $6,000 per year.

Round 1 priority consideration for Esports scholarships will be given to those who submit their admissions application and Esports application by December 1, 2017. Applicants who meet this deadline will receive a response by December 31, 2017.

Round 2 priority consideration for Esports scholarships will be given to those who submit their admissions application and Esports application by January 15, 2018. Applicants who meet this deadline will receive a response by February 15, 2018.

We have an active roster for this year, but you if you are interested in joining next year, fill out the scholarship info online. We look forward to having you as a part of the team.
