Look for a jungle main to duo with instead, You do bot your only able to impact 1 lane and if you lose it then the entire advantage of being duoed is lost. Jungle can impact all lanes and hits yours with improved synergy which is what your looking for in duoing, and you still have the core DPS carry positon not on the shoulders of some random, so you get the most benefit from gold advantages.
