[RAND Invitational Club] {RANIC} In-depth post on club rules and expectations
[Last updated March 27, 2016]
Thanks for taking the time to read this post, regardless of whether you found this post through browsing the forums or through our club's message of the day.
We are the RAND Invitational Club, a club dedicated to providing its members with easy access to other players of similar rank. Though based in ranked play, we aim to be an active network that players can use to set up groups for all game types. Unlike many other clubs currently in existence, RAND Invitational Club is comprised mostly of unfamiliar faces. It is our belief that making new friends is exciting, and we hope that you can find several members among us to add to your personal friends list.
RAND Invitational Club currently consists of players mostly between the ranks of [Silver V] and [Silver III], though this may change in the near future.
Club Expectations and Guidelines
-
Please feel free to invite your club members to your games! Just give it a shot! Maybe you'll find a great queue partner, or at least someone you know will try their best with you. You won't know until you give them a chance!
-
Please also feel free to play by yourself or decline an invite! We get it. Sometimes you don't want to play a game right now, or just want to grind out a game or four by yourself. It's no one's business but yours, really. So don't feel bad about declining an invitation, and don't feel bad if someone declines your invite, either.
-
Please do not flame your club mates (or anyone at all for that matter). Ranked can get stressful, and not everyone plays at their best all the time. I strongly urge you to refrain from taking your frustration out on your teammates. If you and another club member don't have the best chemistry on the Rift, no worries! There are plenty of other club members out there. Give them a shot too!
Club Rules and Regulations
-
If it comes to my attention that a club member is consistently negative to other club members, that player will be asked to leave the club. If a member is being extremely toxic, let me know.
-
Activity is kind of important. If it comes to my attention that a member is very inactive, I may remove the member from the club with or without warning. This is so that other players have a chance to join and become a contributing member of our club. I don't want to put a number on how many games you have to play to be considered active, but if it's on the fence, I'll definitely send out a warning first.
I will expand on this post further in the future, but for now, I just want to lay down some foundations for our club's activity.
If you have any questions or suggestions, leave a comment below or ask me directly through our club chat.
