I'm sure there's others like me out there that when you get stuck with support and it's definitely not your strong suit, how do you play? What are the communities suggestions/recommendations on how to play or build your support? Dbl bot kill lane can be a suggestion still haha Although most adc players would rather you not. LOL

my favorite champs to reccomend to supports are Thresh ,Nami, Nautilus
Thresh because he has a hook so easy engage also an E to help you peel or engage in lane walk up to em E them then throw your hook were the E places them and an R to peel for your adc and a lantern to make the saves/plays Nami because she does alot of damage for someone who can heal and is so good at baby sitting adc its crazy and no matter how bad you are that ult is amazing it buffs allies move speed it knocks up enemies and makes it easy to land your bubble the E helps slow people to land bubbles. Nautilus is just such a CC bot and i told you i like hooks on supports so this guy he hooks someone autos them witch stuns them. then he uses his E witch slows them and he has an ult that cant miss and knocks people up its just so good. anyways thats my 2cents

Play blitzcrank or Thresh be madlife and go full utility peel for the ADC and make sure you apply pressure Support roams are OP so do them too. Just play to your adc strengths and avoid his weaknesses

Support main here :D For me I always make sure I just keep up warding and keep an eye out on enemies wards are placed.and yes keep it "simple" Play safe the first 4-5 mins so you can have a good understanding how your adc plays Tank supports I find now are the key right now Leona Nautilus Braum TahmKench Malphite it also helps if you are last pick or can trade with a last pick so you can pick the best support for your team and to handle the other team. The only time I find myself playing squish supports/kill lanesLux Annie Brand Nami Sona Karma if I have played with them before to avoid Rage (REALLY???YOU TOOK MY KILL) or if you are having a bad game the heat gets placed on you pretty bad and it gets stressful. and that's not fun.

Communication is HUGE for support everyone seems to think we are mind readers... before the game just ask what type of support they would like and tell them "hey wait tell im lv 3 to go in !" or when ever you know you can make a good play I also like tank supports since support has a big part in team fights ...starting it ..controlling it ..and know when to back out if its not working out. :D (pings are nice but no one likes an over pinger -.-)

ALWAYS STAY POSITIVELux if you see someone not doing something right or you can help them on the build they are making just be chill about it and always put a :D at the end.and throw in a gj even more so if your team follows up (its kind of like working with dogs :P give them a treat so they know to keep doing it lol)
:D=Game changer. Anyways that's my input I hope it helps. good luck!

Basically like the other two had said about sums it up.

Playing support basically seems like it is a boring and highly meaningless position because you aren't the person getting kills. You may feel as if you aren't contributing much to the team by being a support. However, whether ADC's like to admit it or not, a majority of the time (when they are doing really well in lane) they like to neglect that the support got them where they needed to be in order to carry the game. I am a support main and have been since season 4, I went from bronze to gold with just playing as Morgana support (Before it became popular in the LCS).

This season it basically feels as if a Tank meta wins, but that isn't always the case. I usually pick blitz crank, regardless of the opposing bot lane. I feel as if the enemy pushes you up to turret early, they are setting themselves up for failure (If you are playing blitz). All you need is a Q and then E combo under turret, then your adc and turret can do the rest, If you don't kill them you at least wasted 1 if not 2 of the summoners on bot lane.

1st off, make sure you keep up good vision in the bot lane, I like to do an early invade/harass with blitz in order to get a flash, or possibly another summoner spell. If they don't know I am there, I will pull the enemy gromp or Krug, and have it reset. Which will delay them a little bit in the JG and also in lane. However as for wards try and get a sight stone on your first back along with a pink ward, I like to ward my side tri with the pink ward, and then put one in river bush, 1 by dragon pit, and one by their blue or red path (depending on which side you are on) Good vision wins the game in that aspect.

2nd, Know your fight and when you can take it. Pull only when and if you know you will get a kill or at least a summoner spell. Stick with your adc, let him know when you are going to be leaving lane to go ward so that way he isn't overextended and gets killed. Leaving him to blame you for his lack of game sense.

3rd, Team fights, pretty much the same as number 2, however you will be with your full group, and always try to make sure you are keeping them off your ADC by_ peeling_. As much as you may hate your adc, he is going to be the saving grace in most cases. Don't let anybody get you down in the game, Your role is just as important as any other lane.

I know this is just a broad spectrum of information based around blitzcrank. However i also play Janna, Nami, Thresh, Karma, Tahm, Trundle, and Morgana. Each one has their own play style, you just need to find yours. _NEVER _tell yourself that the support role is pointless and stupid. Have fun. I hope that this has helped, however if it doesn't, I apologize for wasting your time.

Id say keep it simple , ward up and play a champ that has a shitton of cc , like thresh leona nautilus and to be more cocky get blitz lol

First thing is first, don't view it as being "stuck with it"

Try to find a champ you enjoy that can play the support position.

Going in to the game with a bad attitude is a horrible idea, especially as support when you shouldn't be concerned about yourself as much as your teammates
