Why do you think you're Gold if you can't get out of Bronze? You're Bronze if you're in Bronze.
If he said he was stuck in silver or gold or something I wouldn't believe him, but bronze is actually really hard to be consistent in. Bronze mainly causes a good portion of games will have afkers, feeders, or people who are unbelievably bad, also a lot of smurfs/boosters. This doesn't make it impossible it just causes a good part of your games to become coin flips and if you get stuck in a rank your MMR will drop causing you to get less LP in general making it even harder (I have no facts for this so I could be misunderstanding the system). It's not impossible but I do agree that bronze can be a lot harder to climb are trap people who are slightly(SLIGHTLY) better than their rating shows. Honestly, you don't even need other smurfs if you just duo/trio with people that you know won't AFK, troll, etc you probably will climb much easier. PS: I think it got worse to solo in Bronze cause of DynamicQ all the half decent players what want to climb started duoing and trioing make it so if you solo you run into a lot more afkers and trolls. Also there maybe more smurfs cause of DynamicQ not really sure.
i play with and on gold accounts all the time. just for some reason bronze is way to hard. ie. no teamwork at all. duo makes 2 people able to carry the load and also makes it faster.
