I'm a support in plat 4 and I'm terrible at the game let alone ad carry. And I know that I control at least a majority of my own performance.
http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=darkbolgia Play 80 ranked games on a champion and examine your winrate. over 60+% you on that champion don't belong in that division! 55% is ideal for climbing. The reachable sweet spot for people that are a little better.~ 50% winrate is youre an average performer on your champion. 45% unlucky, not skilled enough to carry purely on mechanics. 40% There's something you can definitely change/in the danger zone. under 40%, its YOU. Once you get over 60% on a champion the game places you against higher winrate people to actually TRY to make you lose. Once you get under 40% the game helps you by placing lower win people on their side to try to help you win.
Average deaths: under 3 deaths is godlike. 4-5 deaths is ideal positioning. 6 deaths is average for tryhard players. 7+ you are helping them kill you with your positioning.

If average plat cs is 60 and you get 60, regardless of whether you win or not, you've performed at a gold level cs wise.
Want to improve? Don't aim for gold, it's stressful and you blame others. Aim to become a Gold-level player.(etc)
Players will often throw your their up and say "Fuck this team, I did everything I can do." And true, they may have done everything they could do. But this is NOT what you should be focusing on in solo que in the first place. Solo que is not to mindlessly do everything you currently do and either celebrate or feel depressed at the result, solo que is to EXPAND everything you can do. There's a big difference between Madlife's (I did everything I could do) and some random frustrated gold player's (I did everything I could do).
Play to expand what you can do.
