Hello my name is Akon the Kid and I am the AD Carry for the serious Ranked Team we are creating. We are a serious ranked team looking for members who are willing to learn and get better. We will be participating in Dynamic Que as well as weekly tournaments! We are looking for a Top and Mid that is Plat+.

Prerequisites: Must main that role. Must have Teamspeak with a mic. Must have the proper champion pool for that role. Recommended prior Ranked 5s experience. Must not be toxic and must respect other players. Willing to participate in 1 on 1 coaching as well as playing ranked with teammates. Willing to dedicate themselves to serious practices. We have a proper Google Sheets page to work with. Our schedule will be Mondays-Fridays at 7:30 pm to 11 pm CST.

Champ Pool All players are expected to follow and adapt to the meta. We can be flexible on some champs, you can have pocket picks but it must be reasonable. I will list champ pools for each role we are looking for that we expect you to know. Of course you don't have to know all of them right off the bat but you will be expected to learn the ones you don't know. Anyway, on to the champ pools :

Thoughts on criticism: In my opinion, criticism IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT should be mostly reserved to post-game, with everyone treating each other as equals in-game regardless of rank and trying to shrug off misplays by proactively adapting to the game and not focusing on mistakes in hindsight but rather preventing them later.

Furthermore, I have no particular issue with accepting criticism from others when it is warranted, but I think there is a time and place for it, and it's not usually helpful in reducing mistakes by constantly calling them out in a team environment, as this is best left to a 3rd party unrelated to the outcome who can have an objective understanding of what's happening (i.e. the coach).

Why I should choose you: I'm punctual and honest (will be there for scheduled scrims/tournament matches, will be open and direct about opinions and availability), I'm emotionally mature and by most standards of those who know me, intelligent and thoughtful. I know the game very well, enjoy it quite a bit, and want others to feel the same way. Anything I think I know well that someone else might lack I am perfectly willing and capable to impart to them. I greatly appreciate the value of teamwork and bonding with my fellow players, and look forward to dedicating myself to whosoever is willing to do the same with me.

Thoughts on criticism: Criticism is acknowledging that you did something wrong, and whether it is from someone else or yourself, and it is the only way to improve skills. However, proper criticism can never be delivered effectively "in the heat of the moment," it requires thinking, and is not just a reaction. Why I should choose you: From a short background in casting games, I have learned to analyze both macro and micro level play very quickly. I can understand strategies given only a few pieces of information, and I am able to conceptualize almost any mechanic and strategy, even if I am unable to execute it yet. I analyze all my opponents and teammates to look for patterns and behaviors. I learn very quickly and very rarely tilt: I'll always make the same quality of plays and decisions, even if I get upset. I never give up or surrender, and I believe that there is more dignity in losing than there is in surrendering.
