[IDEA] Baron Clash Skill
I don't know if I'm 100% correct, but it appears that whenever a clash at Baron happens, Baron is only a small part of the entire affair. Right now Baron just serves as a meeting point for the two teams to clash, if anything.
I propose giving Baron a skill where he extends his tentacles outward, piercing the walls of his nest (deals minor damage to champs in the nest but stuns them substantially doing pretty much the same thing as Vayne's condemn). Then the second act: Baron cocks his head back, then unleashes 3 beams of energy from his 3 mouths; firing into his immediate area- shredding armor and magic resist on all champions hit, and applying a random debuff.
The 3 beams **fire like 3 Victor lasers. Wider and toward 3 RANDOM champions **(the ones Baron loves the most). So it can get unpredictable. Targetted champions can also position themselves so the stream hits other enemy champions before it does them.
This is much like the acid stream the new Baron does now, only that it's three and looks more like it's from a fire hose than drops of acid. It's tailor-made to screw with clashes. Baron should look like he wants attention, not just be a tool in instigating a clash.
In the new Baron death, he has energy collecting in his mouth, the beams should be made out of that same energy.
The skill triggers when a set amount of damage is dealt around Baron (I don't know how the game will detect whether a clash ensues, but this may be one way to do it). The clash should already be either decided or dissolved once Baron does his thing. With the "winning team" lacking the power to finish off Baron after the ace. Baron lives. Baron wins the clash. Unless the team thought and planned the entire thing through. Which should be the case when planning to kill the game's second most powerful being...Baron.
The beams trigger 3 seconds after Baron roots his tentacles. With icons appearing above the "Chosen Ones".
I think the purpose of this is to make Baron a big part of clashes that happen because of him. This makes the team who goes Baron just use the opportunity to bait the other team out, but also knowing that Baron can screw with their attempt to end the game prematurely through a forced Baron clash.
Not satisfied with that skill? Try having Baron killsteals. Whenever a champion has 10% health and is around Baron's neck range, Baron lunges and devours that champion. Yah. He then absorbs ALL (or a certain percentage, whatever) of that champion's stats. Making it harder to go back to him and try killing him again.
Baron gets stronger as weak players make weak plays around him. Even more so when fed players make mistakes in front of him. Ain't that something. Triggers once in clashes only. Or during early game misadventures around the pit. That would be funny.
Pick one. Pick both. Just make clashing at Baron a BAD IDEA.
