Why is there only Ranked Summoner's Rift? What if I like ranked playlists but prefer ARAM? Why is there not RANKED ARAM where I can be pitted against people around my level instead of random n00bs all the time? Please, please, please I know I'm not the only person who wants ranked ARAM.
Why make a ranked mode based on luck?
People already complain about how match making is "pure luck" in SR Ranked... now you want to take a game mode that is literally all luck on team comp and make it a ranked mode. While I think it'd be great to know how you stack up when thrown in with potentially any account people would run Smurf ARAM accounts just to rank up there giving an unfair advantage.
Not only the luck factor, but also Aram is kind where some people ( Myself included) that go for fun. Full Ap Nasus , Ap Jax are all fun to play, but only "Viable" in Aram. If it becomes ranked, people will get all annoyed about the "Meta" for Aram and that will just suck
I'm saying it would be interesting to give ranks to ARAM players who prefer ARAM over Summoner's Rift and include ARAM tournaments.
I believe there is a skill involved in being good at ARAM, even if it is somewhat luck-based. After playing for so long, I've seen good teams get raped by average teams simply because of the difference in skill. There is still individual factors involved, like runes and masteries. My main reason for wanting ranked ARAM is because I do like competitive gameplay and it's a shame that aside from W/L, there's no real gain from playing so much ARAM for me. I will always be a Bronze ARAM player unless I decide to put time in Ranked SR. That's retarded.
This isn't about recognition for playing ARAM or anything. I don't care about making it big in online gaming, but I do like Ranked playlists because I like knowing where my skill-level is at and I enjoy getting matched with people on my level.
Sometimes when I make a team for ARAM by simply going into the ARAM chatroom and inviting everyone that's green, I end up really easily making a good team that goes pretty much undefeated. I've gotten so good at it that I carry my ARAM games even when playing solo. It's fun and I want to level up. I want to fight other god ARAM teams, I want a challenge again, like when I started playing League and fell in love with ARAM because it forced me to try new characters.
I'm the type of person that clings to a champ. In SR, I always feel pressured to pick Udyr or Singed because they're the only two I really feel comfortable laning with. Lately it's been Udyr exclusively because Singed feels nerfed.
Most of the champs I've bought are pretty much for ARAM and I don't like laning with them. Sometimes when I pick SR I feel like I have all these support characters and I don't like playing support, but on ARAM Sona and Soraka are really good champs and fun to play with.
So the prerequisite's would be:
Level 30 (Duh)
Own all champions
Be in good standing and considered non-toxic (30 or negative/lost less Tribunal cases)
the pick ban phase will be back and forth one at a time 15 seconds each. (turn will end once ban is completed)
Everyone gets to ban one champion then all are blocked except the random button and you can only hit it once(no re-rolls)
If you fail to click the random button a random champion will be assigned(
)
If you fail to ban on your turn a random champion will be banned( )
