After promos in ranked

When you're at 0LP and it is your first game in a new rank, does your play/champ pool change?

I noticed a little while back that, even though I didn't plan on it, when I hit a new division I'm more willing to fill. I don't know when I realized it but at some point I did. When I'm close to the next rank I play my main roles/champ(s) unless I absolutely have to play something else. However, at 0LP knowing that I can't lose LP and won't drop back on my first or second loss I find myself more willing to go with a different role when someone below me in pick order asks for what I usually play. I guess I subconsciously realized that if I'm not able to drop it is the one time I can play anything I want and not have to carry if I want to climb. It adds variation to what I play and about half the time I get carried anyway (I know I've carried some people who weren't on their main roles some games, it's nice to have that happen though), but I still feel a little guilty knowing I'm gonna be more neutral than useful. Does anyone else do this, or am I the only one?
