[IDEA] Varied Nexus Destruction Animations
It's the one constant animation in every single game. How about making different animations for the nexus getting destroyed, depending on how it was conquered. Examples:
- Classic 5 man siege- Start glowing violently, like overheating. Then explodes. OR the nexus starts bleeding energy, as the energy seeps out it consumes the nexus like a toxic cloud.
- Minion damage- Crumbles, then collapses on itself.
- Backdoor- Crystal in the middle of the new nexus falls in silently, then a tall beam of energy erupts from the nexus hole, as the crystal hits its bottom. (not sure how this jives with the new nexus lore/architecture)
Other possibilities:
+The nexus starts pulling in the crystal in the summoner's platform. As the nexus crystal and the platform crystal collide, well, you know.
+The nexus of the winning team subjugates the enemy nexus. A blue/red beam flies from the winning nexus, similar to the old recall animation- with the minimizing circles. The game ends with two red/blue nexus towers. No explosion. For surrender scenarios.
That's just a few. I'm sure you guys could come up with more exciting ways to present an endgame, that is actually worth the effort. Since beating the enemy nexus is the game's main goal, right?
Also, i think it would be more epic if the Victory/Defeat image appears as the animation happens, not after the nexus is destroyed.
