Did I just play a Dominion game with Bots?

So, I just finished playing a game in the Crystal Scar, and I'm confused.

Did my entire team just consist of bots?

##Here's the evidence:

  • The link to "View the match online" is blank. [UPDATE: The link now works. Feel free to click]
  • Everyone on my team had the same summoner spells, they did not speak, and they locked in immediately after I joined the group.
  • When the map loaded, they all grouped up in one spot in the spawn and rushed to The Refinery (not the Windmill, which is the norm).
  • They quickly and consistently died in the dumbest ways possible, often in 1v3 matches against the enemy
  • When I look up their summoner names in the Launcher, I get the "Didn't find any matches" error - I can find my proven-to-be-living opponents
  • We lost in under 7 minutes (wow!)
  • On the enemy team, the only player that died (keyroof) had the same characteristics

Some on the enemy team also said I was with bots.

So what happened? Was Riot just trolling me because I'm trying to learn how to be a better Bard?

If the names are very generic and consists of two words its more than likely a bot

Riot literally killed Dominion deliberately so they wouldn't have to devote any meaningful amount of resources to the mode. Dealing with the bots would require said resources, and counter their apparent goal of keeping as many real players out of Dominion as possible.

So... bots aren't going anywhere.

Doing some digging around, it looks like this is not a new issue for Dominion. Lots of people complaining about bots. Well,you can count me as another.

My big question: Is Riot doing this so that there can actually be games in Domion, or are cheating players creating their own bots so they can IP farm?

sounds pretty normal on dominion. The last time I played dominion, a few months ago, I had a game where on my team I had 4 bots, and the opposing team had 3. The game was some absolute trash.
