So I was playing Smite, and enjoying the Mode of the Day, which was one where both teams started at level 20 with 12,000 gold, when I had a sudden idea. Wouldn't it be great if League had a Mode of the Day? They just change things about the match, such as the above, or making it so teams can only choose Noxians or something like that. I think it's a great idea myself. Thoughts? Comments? Opinions?
I feel as though they are sort of trying that with the Featured game modes like One for All or the upcoming Poro King event. While it has certainly not been a weekly basis, maybe someday when they've done enough rounds to see what people like/don't like they can set up some sort of rotation...I wouldn't mind seeing something like that happen :)
That would be so awesome! I like the choosing on Noxians, and their biggest complaint about featured game modes is that they can't leave them in the game permanently because then queue times would get too long because everyone is so spread out and people are only really interested in the gamemodes initially. But if you rotate through them, then people are happy they get to play their favorite game modes again (COUGH COUGH URF), and the queues still don't get too long. However, I don't know how challenging this would be logistically for Riot, but if they could do it that would be so cool and people would love it.
it wouldn't even have to be a mode of the day, it could be a mode of the week or something
