It helps when the enemy is a mage, of course, but through sheer grit we pulled through even though the first 10 minutes was 3 people too busy lipping off and dying or staying at the fountain out of spite for not wanting to play with this champion.

Previous game was a really close but yet not really kind of loss based off the fact I had to guide people who were at least willing to try from the very start and I was telling them how to play him. Magic resist, tenacity, don't waste mana on trying to poke skillshots you were going to miss unless you needed zoning to CS a little, that sort of thing. Sadly, Brand stuns were just too much in the end with the semi-organized goings but we all had fun that game.

This one may have been hard going but the fact is, we did it, and now I can happily play with the knowledge you CAN band together under a champion that is not considered the most abusive of mechanics and still win.

(((Meh, oh well, I made an enemy on the boards, apparently, and instead of posting anything with weight to it, they have decided to just downvote every topic/post I have made in my posting history, instead.

Because I have pointed this out now, though, I expect more downvotes to further prove the point that unless you suck someone's ding-dong and swallow, you can't do anything about people who go out of their way to be little brats.)))

On this topic, though, really I just got so (ad infinitum) tired of last year being the same champs being played in this mode. It has a 20% chance or more of being someone you don't want to play. If you didn't want to take that chance AT ALL, EVER, FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME WHATSOEVER, why did you a) stay instead of dodging, or b) even bother trying this mode in the first place?

Last time this mode came out, I didn't agree with the lottery picks in virtually every single match. But I still gave it my all and actually played out the games as best I could. If I can tough it out, so can you. Plus, I would be the person willing to make the sacrifice to build completely differently so I could contribute by allowing my 4 teammates to excell that much more. I was surprised how well MR tank Nidalee works when people just instantly waste EVERYTHING on the one person they shouldn't and then comes in my 4-man cleanup crew to take advantage of their cooldown periods. Small example, but hopefully you understand that I'm not being the selfish one here.

We won against Yasuo last night with Galio. IMO he is an underrated pick for All for One.

We tried Janna, we failed, but it was fun.

Keep in mind, there are others out there just having fun with this game mode. Sorry if you have had some bad luck with groups you've been in.
