Pause Time Please

Please give each team a (modest) amount of pause time, especially in ranked play. This would salvage a really high percentage of games that are ruined by what a really very brief disconnections or periods of lag for one member of a team. A 45 minute game being ruined by 30 seconds of lag is silly!

The only counter-argument would be that people join league games to play the game and not to wait and that it would suck to have to wait while people pause for a minute or so per game. Riot, however, already currently gives people 30 minutes to load the game on their circa 1995 toaster ovens. If we can be so accomodating there why not give at least 30 seconds per game of pause for people to reconnect if they lag out?

Having played in tournaments that allow short amounts of pause time I can say that it vastly increases the amount of games that play out well and are decided by strategy and tactics and not disconnections. Riot save our ranked games from lag, give us some pause plzerino.
