Draft bans in need of a rework.

With the sheer amount of champions available shouldn't it be about time for an increase in the amount of bans that you are given for a match? Three for each team doesn't seem to be enough any more. With all the reworking and frequency of new champions it becomes very hard to ban out the ones that have not been balanced after their rework/ initial release. This has been stagnating ranked game play because the 130+ champion pool that you are supposed to have available to you is reduced down to what seems to be a pool of 20 champions that could be considered viable. This would hopefully force players to become more adaptable and less likely to rage just because they don't get the one champion that they can play in the current meta.

Not only would this effect the lower level ranked play positively by potentially stopping players that are not familiar with the "hot pick" of the month from playing them in ranked. It would also have a good impact to higher play even up to the LCS standards. Having watched many of the matches this season I had noticed that certain champions (Gangplank, Mordekaiser, Lulu, Darius, Elise) had incredibly high pick/ban rates in the matches. So much so that it was almost as if even the professional players knew that you either ban out or pick those champions so that your opponent did not get them.

Thus far, that kind of mentality has been temporarily "fixed" by adjusting the numbers on individual champions. This can happen multiple times over many patches even. So much so that it can occasionally render a champion almost useless. A few prime examples that have had this issue in the past are Kassadin, Olaf, and Singed. They were all rendered useless at one point because of over adjusting the champ. Increasing the amount of bans would not only give Riot more time to really fine tune their adjustments but would accommodate for many future champion releases as well.

Considering that the League community as a whole already wastes many of their 6 bans per game on balanced champions, they definitely don't need more.

I think another set of bans would be enough for now, and 2 for the long run. Now, when I read half this crap thats on here, the good ideas get shunned.
