Why Not Hire SkinSpotlights Replay to Make a Integrated Replay System?

All throughout worlds Riot has been using SkinSpotlights Replay to show off awesome plays. Its clear that the folks who developed SkinSpotlights replay have an amazing product, but they struggle with keeping their software operational whenever a new patch comes out. Any time a new patch comes out users of SkinSpotlights replay can't access their previous patch replay files without changing LoL files to be compatible with the new patch.

Riot has recently come out saying they don't have the manpower or the desire to implement a replay feature in the near future. Why not hire SkinSpotlights replay and give them the support they both need and deserve to fully integrate SkinSpotlights Replay into League of Legends? It would cost Riot a relatively small amount of money and Its a win-win situation that not only rewards great innovators in our community but gives players features they both want and deserve.

The actual reason is a much more technical one, and I'll use an example to illustrate it:

Heroes of the Storm, a Blizzard MOBA, has a replay feature, all of your games are stored on a replay file that you can look at later inside the client. This means that throughout the game, the client has to continuously save what's going on into the file, which must be handled user-side because otherwise Blizzard would be cluttered with millions of games. Now what happens when you disconnect?, the system is no longer storing data in the replay file, it is now effectively "Broken", to avoid this happening, the server saves the game info and relays it to the users client when he reconnects. This has an unintended side effect, not only does it makes the system super clunky when you are rapidly disconnecting/reconnecting due to latency problems, but if you leave for a moderate amount of time, like say, 3 minutes, the game then forces your client to download the game information back into your replay file, which in turn makes it so it takes you even MORE time to reconnect, I've had 3 minutes disconnections turn into 7 minutes reconnect time.

And trust me, if there was a less clunkier way, the insanely rich game company Blizzard would have found a way.

There's little doubt in my mind that a replay system would slow the game down. So how about no?

Replay systems already exist, why do you need one served to you on a silver platter?
