Hi, I am recently new to League and I was wondering. Whenever I go solo in the blind pick queue I always get a new player that doesn't know much. That always feeds, its not there fault, there new but its just annoying how you can be matched with a level 11 being level 20. Does this happen to you guys? I think Riot should create a blind pick for like level 20 and up? What do you guys think?
lvl 11 and 20 are pretty much equally skilled id think

The system does that because it can't find a better match otherwise.
Everyone has hidden matchmaking ratings (MMR), one for each game mode. When you queue up for a game, the system tries to find people with similar ratings as you. As you wait in queue, the system grows more lenient and searches for a wider range of ratings. When you get paired up with that level 11, it's essentially the system going "Eh, you two have been waiting long enough, and I think you're close enough together in skill level." Riot could change matchmaking to be more strict in the MMR ranges it searches, but that could impact queue times dramatically.
not the hugest gap between level 11 and 20 there is a massive gap between level 21 and 30 (Depending on how long you have been lvl 30)
