New Taliyah Lines

Thanks for showing the little sparrow some love, Riot. Here are some comments.

  1. Increase their variety or decrease their frequency. I’ve heard, “Pebble-rouser. There’s a good nickname” and “I wish rocks could give pep talks” one time too many after only a day of playing.

  2. They’re different from her regular voiceover. They’re harsher, both in tone and content, and it’s quite jarring to go from “A rock in the bush is worth five in the hand” to “No use sitting around!”.

  3. Worked ground interaction too frequent. I’m getting the lines about “fresh earth” almost every time I step on or off worked ground, which happens many times throughout laning phase. Make them occasional, please, and keep them from drowning out or interrupting special interactions.

Wait, I don't think Riot gave Taliyah new lines. They don't usually do that for any champion unless a legendary/ultimate skin had previously came out.

Even if it was special, that would imply that Riot brought back Taliyah's voice actress. They don't usually do that. Not to mention that Taliyah had a ton of lines already, so it would be smarter to give champs with less lines more lines.

It just doesn't add up. Maybe a patch increased the frequency of certain lines?

EDIT: Also, according to the wiki, "No use sitting around!" and the lines you mentioned in #1 aren't her lines...

I'm very confused. It could have been a stealth add that the wiki didn't notice, but that still doesn't make any sense about why Riot would change the lines...
