So I guess MF and Varus are no longer a priority or in need for a VO Update?

I'm glad about Ashe getting this I really am, but what annoys me is that Riot is getting out of their way to completely ignore both Varus and Miss Fortune (even if MF's attempt failed the first time, we still have nothing as to what happened with Varus) when both of them were the original priorities for a VO Update, even before Lee Sin got one.

Actual quote from a Rioter on Reddit from a year ago...

"..This new narrative is making his VO update much more of a priority (MF is in the same boat), but we've promised other updates for other champs (not just VO, but visual and gameplay), so we owe players some other things first. We do want to get to it eventually."

To clarify, this wasn't to say they will get updated VO, just that they are high priority to get new VO. Pure VO updates are not higher priority for us then full VGUs and New Champs so they have to be squeezed in between that stuff. Not sure when and if these will happen, just that if we have time to squeeze and few VO updates in, these 2 are high priority for that.

Varus requires not one but 3 voice actors.

MF is hard to write for. Ashe is simple. She has one of if not the most detailed lores, she's easy.

Same story as with Lux, Ashe just happened to be getting a new Legendary Skin and was going to be in the Studio for recording anyways so they did her default voicelines too.

It wasn't a case of pushing her ahead of Varus and MF in priority it's was just convenient to do things this way.

Its obvious that this VO-update was made because Ashe is getting a legendary skin, so they had to hire all of Ashes voice actors anyway. They did the same with Lux when she got her ultimate skin and tried to do the same with MF and her GG-skin, but the new voice over wasn't very well received, so it was scrapped.

no one who complains about no MF VO update wants to remember that last time time she got one everyone got pissed off and had it changed back

Ashe VO is nice but it got easier with the new lore and her comic helped as well.

The reason she received the first is because of the incoming Voli rework. Varus's update is a long-time coming, same with MF, and DEFINITELY the champ who has gotten a whole ass daughter and hasn't been touched since.
