Hello Summoners/Riotiers (if you see this and if that's a thing) i just recently took a look through some of the art spotlights, such as Diana ,Khazix , and so on. Riot has some amazing artwork, and i feel as if it has gone unnoticed, and is left to only the looking eyes. i would love to see some of the more advanced rendering of your work, and especially on skins, not just default champion artwork. probably not such artwork like AurelionSol more like artworks like the Mecha skin for Sion , and Aatrox. the greatest defaults i would like to see would maybe be Darius Ryze Taric Bard Chogath Jhin Poppy

the one reason why i would understand why people wouldn't want to see this is because the views on youtube are few compared to others( i think the highest viewed is Khazix

It was quite the pain for the artists to manage that thing back then- You know, recording every time you start painting, the extra editing (not by artists of course), and now that splashes take around two weeks to develop at the very least (due to splash thumbnails work, feedback and other stuff), this process of the Art Spotlights can be even more exhausting. It was basically a very time-&-energy-consuming process that Riot felt, while cool, was not the most necessary.

######(I know I would be rather de-motivated, as an aspiring concept artist myself, if I had to manage a recording program every time I sit down to draw, but that might be because I'm sometimes a bit lazy and easily de-motivated by things.)

Anyways, the closest thing I can offer you are the videos of Riot Concept Artist (on team ChampUP) Kienan Lafferty, who also used to work for Riot as an in-house splash artist (He did things like the original Ahri, Fizz and Diana splashes). Kienan did a series of step-by-step tutorials/footage of him making his own, unofficial version of a modern Ahri splash, which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrVqNXdRysg&list=PLb0T1WxEbeAIX__krnmGiqEY7WJAYsvEX

Also, there are Riot artists on ARTSTATION who share stills from their process of making a splash, such as Christian Fell and Jon Buran.
