Really hope that he'll be visually a bit more distinctive from Rhaast.
I men sure you can easily tell the 2 apart from each other,but the overall design seems a bit too similar to me,with both looking like red demons with metallic horns.
Of course he doesn't need a complete makeover,but I'd still like it if he got some changes that set him apart.
cant wait for the millions of aatrox main one tricks out there to complain about any change lol

New model, new abilities, new VO? It may as well just be a VGU then.
Just make him look like Devil Kazuya and add some red in there. That third eye is a must!

He deserves a big update not just visually because if the really want aatrox who should be the most BA darkin bc of his lore to be a champion duelist who runs people down then he needs some work, you lose pretty badly early game to other duelists and his revives needs to come up quicker or reset on a soul, champion kill or something, maybe take an idea from his original lore and makes his q when he spreads his wings give massive lifesteal to team or something so many cool things that can be done to make him the champion he deserves, he's older then kayn!!!! And kayns stronger what the heck!
is he gonna get a new lore aswell because the lore right now isnt really much tbh and it makes me little sad as an aatrox main that his lore is so short
Now that kind of explains why it has been taking so long. I’m now really interested on what his new look is going to be.
If anything though, they need to keep the horns. The banners wings if they are allowed to stay would also be awesome but I feel like they may go or be changed dramatically.
The way they talked about the next champion has me intrigued. I could quite easily be wrong here but I assume the new release will be involved in the Bilgewater LU, and curious to see how the "dark, cold seas" might relate to the champion.
Yeah i really hope they won't turn him into some bloodthirsty insane creature or god forbid - comic relief.
He's supposted to be older, wiser and more focused on his goals than Rhaast in my opinion. I hope they keep it that way.
