Question for Aphelios' narrative team

Hello everybody,

I was reading twilight of the gods, and it seems that the moon power have some power to "unmake" what the sun made. I am not sure if it is by the power on the moon itself or the chalicar.

The question is, if the power of the moon is "antagonist" to the power of the sun, are Aphelios guns capable to deal extra damage to Ascended and Darkins or they are just like any other weapon?
