Ryze event is related to Runeterra Map?

On the first day the icons got added on the PBE, the mission said that the icons could be obtained during the Ryze Short Event, so yeah, they suppose to hit the live server together. Ryze travels a lot, he and Ezreal are both the perfect person to explains us a map.
In a way its related because Ryze is carrying the map of runeterra with him. The scroll is the map.
