So I've been thinking about the PROJECT Universe again cause I'm a sucker for neon and futuristic shit, and there's a lot of sides within the universe, and I wanna compile them in 1 post and also to ask some questions about each side so I hope a rioter can see this and correct me:

G/NETIC Resistance This group seems to be the "good guys" here. They're purpose is to stop the PROJECT Command Line/Corporation. The Resistance includes Ashe the leader, Leona the second in command, Ekko Lucian Yasuo Fiora and MasterYi . Katarina also used to be a part of the Resistance but went back to the PROJECT side.

PROJECT Corp/Command Line Pretty much the main bad guys. The creators of the PROJECT warriors and robots. Both Katarina and Zed serve PROJECT, protecting and hiding whatever secrets they have. However Katarina might still have a chance to join the Resistance again.

Programs So for me, this is where it kinda gets complicated. I'm not sure if the Programs were created by the PROJECT Corp, or a different company, due to Program Camille's background stating she was built to chase down G/NETIC rebels. Whatever the case maybe, their agenda is to enslave humanity. Their side includes Lissandra who seems to be the main leader, Leblanc Nami Blitzcrank Camille and Soraka .

Central Pretty much the Police/Detectives of the Universe, working just underneath the PROJECT Corp. Vi is the only detective atm. Though it's seems unclear whether or not they know the dark secrets within PROJECT, though Jhin has mentioned they rebuild PROJECT warriors to her in the story 'Of Rats and Cats and Neon Mice'.

**Vigilantes/Hunters (Unaffiliated) ** They have their own agenda, seemingly not sided. Vayne is a Vigilante, originally serving PROJECT before she was betrayed by them. Now she hunts PROJECT Corp and seeks to destroy the Corp to what they did to her. Jhin is pretty much a hitman, serving no one, but seemed at one point was a part of PROJECT for his upgrades and body, though this is just a theory.

Outsiders These are the newest addition to the Universe. They are a group of castoffs, left abandoned by the PROJECT Corp. They're agenda is to destroy them. Right now, there's no info about them, however, in the Reckoning trailer description, it states that they plan to infiltrate The City, meaning they were left/dumped outside the walls for a reason. These outsiders include Pyke Jinx Akali Irelia and maybe Warwick, as we don't know if he's still trapped in PROJECT Corp, escaped but is unaffiliated to his own agenda or helping the outsiders.

If anyone is still here, awesome! Now, some questions about the groups: Has Vi ever encountered a G/NETIC Rebel? What would her stance be on them? Has Vayne also encountered a rebel? She and them pretty much have a same goal, though most likely with rocky terms. Which company created the Programs/iBlitz? It might be PROJECT obviously but they have their own agenda from PROJECT, which would be kinda weird for a Corp to create an A.I that would obviously betray them, right? How would the Outsiders feel about the G/NETIC Rebellion? Would they join or would they continue to do their own thing. I know its reeeaally early to learn about them, since they might have a colour story later on, but just curious.

Again, I love the PROJECT universe, and if anyone/riot universe writers see these, I hope they approve of this and answer some of the questions!

my biggest question is just wether they're still sticking to the "possible future" thing or rather just a different universe.

because if so i'd like to see the other zaun/pilt champs tbh. chemtech fused with project seems like it would be kinda cool, it's personally what i'd have liked to see on WW.

Also, are these champs the ones from the base universe, whose spirits have been drawn into new bodies, or are they different entirely? Like is PROJECT Ashe the very same Ashe from the Freljord?

  • Probably wouldn't care.

  • Seems to have her own personal vendetta against the corporation and isn't looking to join anyone's side.

  • No idea. We know that PROJECT weaponizes them on occasion, but not if PROJECT actually makes them.

  • They probably don't care. I've been running under the assumption that they're Vayne's old team and that they've returned to just destroy the corporation that betrayed and abandoned them with no intention of taking sides.

Was there any indication on how a PROJECTS neon glow is determined? Is just a choice made by the corporation/manufacturers?

I'm interested in what purpose of the Outsiders are to do what they do, besides just 'taking down the man' what's their reason? What are they after? What do they ultimately want?

From my understanding, G/NETIC sort of shares a similar plot as Cyborg 009, realizing they're no longer human, they were kidnapped and experimented on.

What were the reasons behind PROJECT (or RIot) that made them choose Jinx, Akali, Irelia, Pyke, and Warwick as the next generation of cybernetics?

And what are the reasons for a character like Jinx to even care she's either for or against PROJECT.

Everyone but Jinx of the Outsiders cast and outside the PROJECT lore have always had something to fight for. Jinx was just a wanted criminal that wanted to blow stuff up.

The same could also be Jhin, but his kills had purpose and still do in PROJECT lore.
