Akali has a great design. But as of now I have found myself only interested in her classic, stinger and blood moon skins. That said her infernal and project skins are not as successful. With someone like Pyke or Morde, its easier to make good skins (as long as the design itself is good) but with someone small like Akali, alot of her skins come off as either lacking in dramaticism or just too chaotic (project). Which begs the question, how can this be remedied? She has good skins just the newer ones are not as good (in my opinion because some of you may like her new skins). But how do you take a small champ like her and make her look cool? I have certain design preferences: color patten that doesnt vary too much (my problem with project akali) and armor/clothing that is smooth and doesnt make the champ look to small (tight clothing works on bigger champs or champs with more defined structure) but also not too bulky (see infernal Alistar). Also common stuff like good facials, nice looking weapons that look strong. I am a big fan of smooth, impactful designs and I hate when a design looks too shallow. Project Akali's pants look awful and smooth pants with armor would look better (see Project Vayne). Also I can barely see whats going on, what her armor actually looks like. We need good skin ideas for Akali as most of others are real world skins (which i avoid completely other than holiday skins). Any ideas?

I agree on everything besides the Infernal Akali skin is very good imo, what that skin used to be to what it is now i honestly think its her best skin, for the price and the thematic

I hate infernal, especially because I loved the old Takili skin. IDK why they didn't just make that and stinger both chromas and then try to do something nice for the replacement skins. Maybe a bee themed Akabee skin for stinger and either a christmas skin or something slooty for the old crimson akali skin.

As for her main skin, I'm not a fan. I really don't like the new hair. The ink makes her look like a criminal (if you know japan you'd understand). Why she has Aussie when he's a Targon champ is beyond me... reverse weeb I guess. Also no sideboob anymore. The worst thing is the fanny pack. If it were less pronounced I think I'd tolerate it but as is I think it is ridiculous.

Anyways I hope that akali gets reworked both in terms of gameplay and looks. While it wasn't my least favorite rework, it's close.

But how do you take a small champ like her and make her look cool?

The easiest way is with flashy skills and particle effects, but the only thing in her kit that fits is the rage inducing smoke bomb.

Also common stuff like good facials

She's wearing a mask.

My issue with Infernal Akali is compared to the other infernals her face is just black. No features. Same for the horns (which look wierd on her). Compare this to someone like Amumu who has the ember face with flames on his head.

Project Akali just looks bad to encourage you to buy the Chroma pack that has the more fitting color scheme.
