Show my boi Xerath some love!

So, it's been about 3 years since the last Xerath skin, Guardian of the sands. Having just watched the State of Skins video: https://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/2018/03/dev-diary-state-of-skins/ I couldn't help but notice he wasn't mentioned at all. Not only that but Xerath hasn't received any meaningful changes since the mage update. It feels like Riot has forgotten our favorite sniper even exists. I know he doesn't see competitive play but I feel as though he deserves a little attention.
