I really enjoyed the old one but I guess there is nothing we can do about the change because of the new weapons and stuff. Just seems kind of sad to get something less impressive here.
I agree, the original blood moon oozes style. The colours are nicer (particularly the reds) and akali herself is more attractive.

The old one is the wallpaper on my work computer. Yup, this is a huge step down :( She was among the first skins i bought, just because of the splash.
I'm guessing OP is attached to the background more. Where this one is different? I like both and I lean a bit more towards the new one.
Huh, Blood Moon is by far my favorite new splash. I love the artistic design on the new one, feels a bit more mature I guess you'd say? Not sure how to put my finger on it, but I do love it.

I loved the old Akali bloodmoon skin so much. It is the first skin I actually paid full RP price for instead of waiting for a sale, it is the only one I bought a shirt of. and the only one I bought a wall art of. I considered this art to be THE BEST IN THE GAME. I am APPALLED at the change to her art! The new one has a completely different feel. The overdone makeup, the ridiculous clothes, the purple hair, and the crummy mask change. The only positive change was to the weapons, to actually match her bio. I think this is ridiculous an I am genuinely angry! I paid money for that skin and they changed how it looks. I want my old skin back or it refunded. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
I like both. Heck I even like the original one. The Bloodmoon line of skins contain some of the most outrageously beautiful artwork.
Agreed. Temple Jax and pre-rework Bloodmoon Akali are the best splash arts in the whole game to me. The art style and the background landscapes from these two skins are definitely something special and so damn beautiful. Kinda sad they totally changed the Akali skin.
