VGU Prediction this 2018 and 2019

We all know that after Swain its Irelia's turn to be revealed in the champion department after her is the ninja assassin herself, akali. Plus, after her, the yeti and the boy is next as to reav3 teased in the roadmap.

So this is my prediction to the remaining 2( Yes, there are 6 VGU's this year ) in the VGU list this year.

So this is my prediction, after Nunu we will see a dual VGU update which is the angels themselves, Kayle & Morgana . To support this theory, Riot August said in twitter last december that he will be reworking a female champ VGU who is after Xenogenic's VGU which is NUNU. Meaning, no one knows who is this female VGU candidate yet and it is after nunu. Another one is that, Riot Wrekz said that he will rework a minor/quick VGU this year and its not NUNU. To sum this up, I think Riot August's VGU is Kayle while Wreks is Morgana because morgana is a just a minor VGU unlike kayle. Another supporting detail is that, A fellow file checker of mine, Krestel Girl, told me/ the community champs that will receive a pleasing update to their appearance like new skins, chromas, splashes or VFX and even VGU's like akali, nunu and the angel sisters. Which are all in the tier 1 list of highly anticipated VGU's.

So my timeline prediction date as follows ( It's even base on facts like whose next(i'm too lazy to link stuff, so sorry) to be updated):

Note: GU and VGU can come in the same patch or not because they're done by diff depatments.

Overall I agree that Morgana and Kayle are likely the 2 VGUs after Nunu and yeah we'd likely see 3 or 4 new champs this year(wouldn't say 4 is impossible, though I agree that it is less likely).

I'd say though that it is too early to say when we'll see the champs and VGUs of next year, though I hope they'll keep the ratio of VGUs and new champs the same, because Riot really needs to start cleaning up the outdated stuff from the game.

Given Reav3s list of VGU top candidates https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/Q30wxkKg-new-roadmap-reav3-can-you-give-us-an-update-on-the-tier-1-vgu-list-you-mentioned-one-year-ago?comment=0001

I'd say that Mordekaiser DrMundo Pantheon are definetly very likely candidates for next years VGUs,as they have probably the most outdated ingame models in the entire game(which is saying a LOT) and unlike Udyr, they don't have a pesky ultimate skin, that would take a lot of time to remake.

Though I feel like the others VGUs are really hard to pin down,as I feel like none of the others stand out that much. The only one I think that should get a VGU next year(aside from those already mentioned) would be Kennen. After all they will likely have to take a look at his story when remaking Akali and he really fails to live up to the potential of a lightning mage(heck a lot of people still think of Xerath, when talking about lightning abilities in lol)

No Rammus in 2019 either? It's official, I declare war to the Killaburn clan.

That might make a decent Christmas present or maybe coal to an aquaintence of mine regarding the angels getting VGUs.

I disagree with the time-frame of 9 & 10. There will most likely be a double gap before or after them similar to Xayah and Rakahn.

I think it's very ambitious to think that there will be a whopping 6 VGUs this year, when last year only gave us 4 (and Warwick came out earlier than Swain). Given that the VGUs this year are already behind where they were last year, I think it's safe to assume we'll only get 4 again. The Irelia one is ongoing at current, so it should release sometime around April. Akali was moved to after Swain was completed by his team, so her VGU will take at least 4 months, if not a full 6, which will put her coming out around June. Once Irelia finishes in April, her team will move to Nunu, who would then probably arrive in October of this year.

If we are to believe that Morgana and Kayle are indeed the next VGUs, Akali's team will move on to one of them, and that angel won't get released until the sister is completed after Nunu's team moves on to her. The first sister (by Akali's team) would have typically occupied the early year VGU slot where we saw Warwick and Swain, while the second sister will have occupied the second slot that was occupied last year by Galio in late Feb, early March and Irelia this year around April. So that means we probably won't see the sisters make their VGU debut until next Feb-March.
