Void
Was the void created by humans? So I believe it was Illaoi's taunt towards void champions about them being a mistake or created by accident. This leads me to wonder how the void originated, any ideas?

Illaoi's taunts towards Rek'Sai is more of WAAARGHbobo mocking his own past work and also Illaoi taking a jab at the Shurimans for letting Rek'Sai become what she is.
The Void is a shadow out of time.
Concepts like 'originated' have no meaning there.

Judging from Aurelion sols lore it sounds like the void actually invades other planets too,so it isn't bound to runeterra.
I find the Void is kind of like the Twisting Nether in WoW.
It's always existed, no matter what. In the end, the " Void " of both universes will consume all ( Hence why most beings from Runeterras' lore are all depicted as consumers, always willing to kill to feed their lust, excluding Vel'koz, but his is a lust for knowledge. )
It's always been there, it's never going away.
