So I was looking at Ryze's page and it says his only rival is Brand, why is that? I've only read the lore about him and his master and how he had to kill him, his friend he saw, and leave the frejlord people to be killed by trolls in taking the rune. Is there extra lore i'm missing? Why are Brand and Ryze enemies? I like to read up on the lore of my favorite champs so i'd really like to know, thanks!
Brand is about destroying everything. Ryze is about trying to save everything.

There's no evidence to support it - all one can do is speculate. The one thing Brand and his rivals have in common is that they're ancient. I'd assume it's got something to do with the whole Freljordian/Frozen Watchers storyline.

I would guess that Brand somehow has something to do with weaponized world runes, since Ryze is pretty big on bottling them. All speculation, though, since we haven't gotten any further information.
Brand is like some evil manifestation of magic from thousands of years ago and Ryze's mission to save the world from destruction....maybe that's why
Brand took a World Rune and his soul was burned, Ryze's mission is to find all the World Runes and Brand's is to use them for their power.
When Brand was human he found a World Rune and it turned him into what he is now. He wants to find more Word Runes to use them to burn the world
Ryze's mission is to keep people from using the runes for destructive purposes to stop another Rune War.
There was speculation that Lissandra had a World Rune in her possession but after the Void lore update that might not be true.

Long story short Ryze wants to protect the planet by safeguarding strong power and Brand wants to take the power and become all-powerful.
Is there any link where I can read that (like the one they did for harroween), or is in the client champion lore?? .__.
Apparently Brand is some form of remnant of the Rune Wars, which is what Ryze was trying to stop.
Brand's pretty much a reminder of Ryze's failures and is potentially made of runic energy.
I vaguely remember a line somewhere about how Brand is a Rune that became sentient?
I dunno.
