A way that Riot could keep us updated on how the reworks are going

So, a way that could really help us know how reworks are going is for Riot to create a topic on the Boards that only they can alter, and call it reworks. There on the reworks topic, the rioter in charge of the champ rework creates a discussion under the name of the champ that is getting reworked, let me give you a example;

Name of the Discussion: Poppy - the Iron Ambassador

Rework Level : Here we would find out just how big the rework is going to be, based off previous reworks: Kassadin (Visual only) Miss Fortune (Visual and Icon rework, with maybe a hint of QOL) , Ryze (Small kit update + VFX, but core identity preserved, no model changes), Gangplank ((Small kit update + VFX, but core identity preserved, but with model update) , Fiora (Massive kit update, but with her old identity + model update), Karthus (Visual overhaul, but no gameplay changes) or Sion (Champion complete relaunch). Just by doing this , Riot is confirming the rework, so we won't have to ask or be suprised when the champ rework is not the size we where expecting.

Then under all that, the rioter states at what stage of the creation process they are in; Are we creating still discussing the reworked champs core identity, making the kit updates, sketching out the new model, scrapping the rework, updating the splash art, working on the new lore, adding on the final touches etc. This would be updated when ever Riot moves on to the next stage of the champion update process. For instance, if this was to exist currently, I would expect that Poppy would be in the "Adding on the final touches" part of the update.

Anywho, I think that this would be a great way for us to be able to keep in touch and accompany how the rework is going, and would be nice for us to have. This would also stop the constant spam of "Will X champion get a rework soon", being that the champ has been confirmed on the rework list a billion times. Thank you for reading.

There are some problems with this: 1.Sometimes they work on a champ only to cancel the rework anyway.Warwick and Yorick were originally going to get reworks already,but both were canceled for the time(though I think they started their work on yorick again).This happens all the time and raising expectations if you can't be sure about the delivery isn't necessarily a good thing.

2.They actually have the "champion update"-site already. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/202294884-Champion-Update-Schedule Though they don't always keep it updated(some updates only get listed a few weeks before the update gets on the pbe,older updates are still on that list).They could just as well add some more information to that one.

3.Champion updates aren't always that easily categorized. I mean what exactly would you understand of "but with same core identity"?GP is still a pirate,but his personality did change quite a bit(or rather it fits his lore-personality a lot better now).Not to mention that riot may not even know from the start how big some reworks are gonna be,Urgot was originally planned to just get a kit upgrade,but now he is going to get a relaunch.This is the reason why riot abandoned terms like Texture-update,model-texture update and so on,because sometimes it is hard to draw the line.

Since these Boards are still quite new they could maybe test a 'Global Thread' from which all region Boards can view the single post. They could also be used to openly inform local Board community officers through them of their practices and procedures changes, or whatever.

It's important that they keep us updated.

Personally, I hope they're prioritizing the more under-lying things.
