Looking at the Splash for Aviator Irelia sorta gave me an idea...

y'know that coolish postcard design they gave that particular splash? Well, I had a thought here, and if/when Riot decides to get to Karthus's splash update (it's on the list), what if we gave that same treatment to the Statue of Karthus? I feel like it would certainly fit some sort of theme maybe? I dunno, just a thought :)
