What does a "gray warlock" title mean?

what does it mean to be called a gray mage or warlock in the league of legends world? I was asking cause i was just looking into Annie's lore and i noticed her father is a Gray Warlock and wanted to know a few things.

What kind of sorcery do they use?
Are there any i. The game that are playable? And
Are there any others in the lore besides Annies father?

Annie's lore is a little old but I would assume Grey Warlocks and Witches use magic similar to Annie, being Pyromancy. Annie is basically a Grey Witch. The Grey Order (did I get the name right) are just an order of Grey Warlocks and Witches who were banished/left Noxus and went into the Voodoo Lands (which may not be canon anymore).

He uses Dark magic, and that is all we know.
No Gray Warlocks. Annie, lore wise, is the closest we have, being a mage of the Gray Order (but her gameplay doesn't match her lore. According to the lore, she uses dark magics, not fire magic)
Nope. "Gray Warlock" is a title that Annie's father has; he is a Warlock, and he (along with his wife) lead the Grey Order.

Only members of the Grey Order are called Grey Warlocks

I guess Grey Order is supposed to be a middleground between Noxus (dark) and Demacia (light), as the Order left Noxus, but probably isn't keen on going to Demacia.
