Im actually really disappointed with the majority of the new irelia splash arts

As an avid former irelia main and someone who owns all her skins this is the first time i've been let down by her splash arts. Especially given how good the majority of the rework skin splash arts have been, I was expecting more from these.

To be fair though her base skin is amazing and aviator is absolutely my favorite. I could write a post about how much I love it. It's (in my opinion) probably one of the best splash arts riot has produced, but the rest are just... meh

Infiltrator and frostblade don't look that great and are huge let downs. Both have a tacky feeling to them. I honestly don't have an opinion on frostbooty, so i'm not upset about it being less or w/e but the rest of her isn't that impressive. Especially looking at the blades they seem so bland compared to her current frostblade sword and even the other updated blades. She also looks strikingly(posture and clothes) like frost skin karma yet less serene and more like a villain. Compared to the current splash art where she just looks serious, but the face in the current one isn't that great either so no real nerf there.

Meanwhile in infiltrator her hair just looks awful, it reminds me of those awful haircuts for a wig models use in fashion pics that nobody in their right mind would normally have. The blades are alright but sort of a let down. Comparing it to the current infiltrator's blade i'd take the old design. It seems to fit more where as the updated blades look like they are from a different theme.

OoTL Irelia's dimensions look strange and her right shoulder, (left to the viewer) I don't even know what is going on there. Its like half her arm is in her armpit. I'm assuming the petals behind her are the blades which are cool I love the design for it.

Lastly nightblade irelia. While it looks cool, the splash art doesnt even seem to be her and more like akali with a full body suit, or a female zed. It's a cool design it just doesn't tell me "THIS IS IRELIA" by its appearance which is rather surprising considering how with the vast majority of splash arts you can tell its a certain champion. (some violators of this rule are the thresh and k6 DS skins look too similar)
