It seems like she's gonna be getting a Karma level makeover so I was wondering.

we don't know what riot is going to do and from what it sounds like riot doesn't even know what riot is going to do when it comes to Irelia.
One day they make it sound they she will be made into only a fighter the next day they make the plans sound like she will become only an assassin.
I don't think that they actually started working on her, based on the recent IronStylus comments on Irelia. :P
