How much common knowledge is the existance of the vastayah?

I know in Ionia they could be considered pretty much common knowledge, but then there is the kiilash in Shurima, and the drawings of minotaurs working in forges in the Medarda Heirloom map. But even with that, people in Piltover doesn't seem to have any knowledge of their existance if Eduard Santangelo diary serves as reference. So, how many regions have common knowledge of their existance? How widespread is vastayan population in areas like Noxus, for example?

Is it confirmed that Minotaurs are Vastaya?

It is hinted that Singed knows about the vastaya and that Warwick was probably his try to create an artificial one. In general we just don't know how known vastaya are. I assume that many people already heard about them, but think they are just a myth and not a real phenomenon.

Eduard Santangelo's diary isn't dated, is it? That could have been written long ago. In our world, the far reaches of certain islands or lands were only discovered in the last few hundred years, because of advancements in technology and travel. Runeterra's technology is lacking, it's steampunk era stuff and that's confined to Piltover area, their progression might have been hindered by magic also.

Based on the timeline, it's been a few hundred years since Rune Wars, the formation of Demacia, etc. Noxus Invasion of Ionia was only very recent however, last 20 years or so. So Eduard could have written his stuff 35 years ago and it should be fine. Vastayan's would not be as travelled due to their magical nature.

However you'd think those around Mount Targon would know of the fish people who live in the sea even if they didn't know they were Vastayan, rumours mind you as it's only every century that one comes to the surface and only to see the Aspect of the Moon.
