For example I really want to get the Rhaast Icon, but it was only available to get during Kayn's release...
Will such icons ever be available to be gained/purchased again? If not it would be nice if for instance they ever added additional lore for the Darkin, and there were a few missions that would unlock unique icons, this being one of them for example.
What do you all think?
I sure hope they bring back a chance for it, there's times I just cant spend money on league and then there are times I just didn't know it existed. I'd been keeping an eye out for Chibi Ahri Icon and the moment I look away it slipped by me.
I think that during essence emporeum there is a random summoner icon purchase that can get stuff like that for BE. But also I just woke up, so I don't want to get your hopes up for my bad memory (also, randomness).
There are some Icons that have been vaulted and some that haven't. For example, It is very hard to find the Burning Tides icon because it is quite old while icons like the one you want, have very high chances of coming back in a future event/skin release/blue essence emporium. And of course, you can pray to the RNG-Riot that you find something other than a champion shard in a chest
Well, feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I personally prefer there to be a permanent exclusivity to things. It's sad that you weren't around, but if we go by that logic, than we should also find a way to give people a chance to get the exclusive borders some skins get just because they weren't around during that time either. That may just be sentimental lil' me though.
