A hypothesis: If an apocalyptic event began in Runeterra a League of Legends would be formed

And no I'm not saying something like the institute of war back in the day, and no not every champ would be in the league

However we already have a bunch of characters with 'foresight' etc etc. A few of them mainly or have knowledge of coming darkness and don't want it to be their downfall. Though might seek help for self-preservation to overcome say the watchers returning, is much more open minded and likely aware of both and the Void and the Darkin. Plus we also have , who if his Call to Power cinematic is 100% canon knows , and though I doubt the Troll King would directly aid Ryze in fighting for Runeterra if he we're threatened he would definitely fight in general. Plus we have some characters who would definitely rise up to fight for humanity And champions who would fight for their kind Champions who would likely see it as a chance for redemption Champions who would simply fight to fight etc etc

So I'd guess if something world threatening arrived on Runeterra one day, we'd get the avengers in the formation of the League of legends (it would just be much smaller than the games full cast)

What do you all think?

(Edit (Disclaimer My lists are not all inclusive, there are more threats beyond that, and more Champions who would fight for the people as Yamada pointed out to me such as Blitzcrank, so if I missed anything please feel free to comment below))

If the Cataclysm begins, no champion will be safe, except maybe Yummi and Rengar.

Our cat overlords shall reign Runeterra with Iron paws, not even the Void or Undeads will stand a chance against the purrfection.

I am missing alot of champs in your list.

Champions who would fight for humanity: Blitzcrank This guy lives to help people, risking his own safety all the time to save as many from the dangers of Zaun as possible. Caitlyn Would definitely follow the call for help in my opinion. Camille She is all about preserving the status quo. Which should include keeping humanity intact. Ekko He isn't going to watch the people he loves die. He lost Ajuna, I doubt that he is willing to repeat this tragedy. Ezreal Cocky af, but would help to get acknowledged as a hero I guess. Heimerdinger Don't think that he is so ruthless to simply let humans die left and right. Janna She was born from the prayers of people and already saved Zaun in the past. Orianna Sacrificed her own body to help some kids in Zaun. She will do it again. She is a good girl, she will defend humanity. Viktor He wants humanity to evolve. That his kind doesn't go extinct is kinda required for that. Zac Quite literally a hero of Zaun. Upholding his parents morals, he will fight.

Champions who would fight just for the fight Jinx In the end, there will be alot of explosions and stuff. I think blowing up some voidlings could be fun for her. Urgot Strength is survival. He has to fight, simply to prove himself that he is still worth. But alliances with him are not stable, he just fights on his own. Warwick Deep down, he still wants to be a good guy. Will lose himself during battle, tho, so he might also kill people on his side.

Champions who would fight for their own kind Twitch Technically, he doesn't have an own kind. He would definitely not fight for humans, since he sees them as enemies and wants to get rid of humanity himself, but he doesn't want these other creatures invading either, I think. He will simply kill on both sides if the opportunity arises for him.

Azir Nasus Sivir would definitely fight for shurima.

Elise Evelynn TahmKench would most likely fight for the humans since they are their source of food. Bust make the humans pay alot for their help.

Gangplank MissFortune would probably agree to a truce in order to defend themselves

Vayne is dedicated to hunting down evil so while she probably wouldnt work with the rest, she would definitely do alot.

MasterYi Qiyana JarvanIV Karma Irelia XinZhao would take most of the fighting if they can to protect their people.

I would very much like this idea for an endgame kind of story. Seems kinda prophetic, that an actual League of Legends would finally form as a climax to a billion other stories.

Hm, a interesting Question is formed here. If Mordekaiser returned ro rule once more, would the void have any chance against him or they can overpower him? We know Mordekaiser has no power on the Void and the Void has no power on Mordekaiser so, who would win in such a fight?

You could add Rammus to the list. In one of his color stories, he defends a traveling family that is attacked by giant beetles in the desert.

I'd take Aatrox,Malzahar,and Mundo out of the original list since they are either too far gone,insane, or want everything to end to be of actual use. But I would like to put up Jax who is actively seeking out people worthy of fighting the Void, Bard since it's kind of his whole deal, Kassadin is fighting the Void like his daughter, Nautilus who apparently helps fend off the Shadow Isles which you could include Maokai and Yorick , Skarner for the sleeping Brackern,and Taliyah who want to make sure her family is safe which could also apply to Udyr who wants to protect Sejuani who would see it as a test of strength.
