After compiling the regions of every new champion/rework released in the past 2 seasons (that's S7 & S8), I have come up with a set of choices Riot has (logistically speaking; they may choose otherwise) in their next big release (I took Akali and Nunu into account when making this list, so of course I mean the release after/between them). Can't wait to see your responses!
Well I mean I want Bandle City of course. It's literally the only region Riot haven't visited. The only yordles we've seen get lore attention presently are in regions who also got lore updates, and the big question of "Where even is Bandle City and what even are yordles" still hangs firmly in the air.
Kumungu Jungle
I would like a new champion from Piltover, it is still lacking champions pretty hard.
We just have 7 Piltover champions in the game.
It isn't in the poll, but I also would like to finally get a chembaron champion from Zaun.
There are 2 champions which got left out in the Zaun lore update and they are related to Chemtech as well.
I’d love to see some elaboration and further delving into the Shadow Isles, but just give the Yordle-lovers what they want. Riot hasn’t so much as dropped a hint about Bandle City.
But with Nunu on their list why isnt Freljord a choice here? :D
Otherwise, Piltover, cause there is a lot i wonder about Caitlyn, about her position in the world, is she going to get involved in matters regarding Noxus? or she is going to keep on doing her job as a Sheriff? is she going to be part of a bigger scenario or not?
Yeah really isnt a choice though is it.
I think we all know a lot of people want to finally see Bandle City (& Yordles as a species) finally get some lore love rather than see Riot skirt around the truth for several more years.
Bandle City, we dont have any information about it... like at all.
