Kayle. Kayle and Morgana are both getting reworks, and Kayle is an immortal (or at the very least, Ancient angelic being) that could very well potentially be the mage that sealed Varus in his story.

I could also see Morgana being the original binder of the darkin; they do say that by the time Varus was sealed "the corrupting power of the darkin was well known". And if both Aatrox and Morgana started as whatever the angel beings were... Mayhaps Morgana was corrupted without the presence of a darkin weapon?
I thought it was pretty blatant that the golden-armored warrior queen was leader of the Solari. In fact wasn't Leona prophesied as a reincarnation of a grate Solari warrior, likely the same mentioned in Varus lore?

But Varus hates the mortals for sealing him and killing off his kind,so it wouldn't make sense for the golden queen to be immortal.
Someone said something of an ancient queen of shurima who was the original owner of sivir's weapon.
The mage that sealed away Varus did so with the intent of sacrificing herself, and her corpse can be seen holding him within the As We Fall video. If it is Kayle - she's dead.
