Vladimir's claws in the "Awaken" cinematic?

This gauntlet looks somewhat familiar. Perhaps it's a standard blood mage weapon, or a hint to the arena's bloothirsty sponsorship? Or a random unrelated easter egg, maybe even nothing to do with ?

Anyway, if it was meant to make Vladmains feel warm inside, thank you Riot for not leaving us out.
